The Organic Food Council of Manitoba and the Manitoba Farm Mentorship program invite you to:

Zacland Dairy: An Experiential Farm Tour

Arrival time - 2:00 pm

Join us for the afternoon at one of Manitoba’s FIRST EVER organic dairy farms located near Winkler, Manitoba. The Zacharias family will be leading us through an educational, hands-on tour of their dairy operation. Stay for a farm-fresh dinner, networking and farm chores!

Come out and learn about:
· Certified Organic Dairying
· Rotational Grazing
· And on-farm custom composting from Gerry Dube of BDM Composting

Truly experience the farm by:
* Milking a cow
* Collecting eggs
* Butchering a chicken
* Testing out a hot compost pile

There is something for everyone!

Cost $30 non-members; $25 OFCM-COG members and MFM participants. Includes supper.
