2) The tone is quiet & solemn. We mean business and we are standing in solidarity with all of the other climate actions happening across Canada.
3) Line up on the sidewalk, facing on-coming traffic
-Space ourselves out evenly ie) 2 feet apart from each other
-Please hold your sign, with your face still visible.
*Check out these suggested sign templates that can be printed out and glued on cardboard. All you have to do is print, cut and glue!

G20-Template 2.doc
3- Invest in Clean Energy NOT Tar Sands-Template 3.doc
If you do not have/want a sign, please stand in solidarity.
4) If you have a phone, please bring it along to give your MP or Mr. Harper a call after the action is complete!
We are also calling on folks who have experience in creative arts to stand, interspersed among the standing/sign holders:
We are asking these people to dress in complete black. Pulled back hair and dark faces. -Think dirty-oil.
We would like you to create a body-instillation; to move your body into a form that personifies the pollution and destruction caused by dirty-oil, lack of environmental justice and the suffering of environmental refugees due to climate change.
Please create a position that you can hold still for approximately 20 min, that is easy to understand and striking to look at.
Please contact us if you are able to come. Thank you to all who participate!
If you are unable to attend, please remember to call your MP and ask them to: "Take Serious Action on Climate Change and Bring this Issue to the G8/G20 meetings happening this June in Canada". Phone 1-866-599-4999 and ask for them.
This is a prime time to get the pressure back on the government to take some serious action on climate change. The G8 and G20 meetings are being hosted by Canada this June. When all eyes are on our country, we want to make it known that our government is not representing its people. We want to be leaders in addressing the climate crisis.
