Event Description

The first annual Run With Porter 5 km eco-friendly run and walk is scheduled for August 15, 2009 at 8:00 AM. This run will be held in beautiful Bird's Hill Park on the Pine Ridge Trail and will be a celebration of love, nature and life.
The proceeds from the event will benefit the Manitoba Camping Association's Sunshine Fund, which enables Manitoba children who do not have the financial means through parents, guardians or agencies, an opportunity to attend an accredited Manitoba summer camp.

Message from Porter's parents:
"The run has been organized to honour the love of Porter Francis, our boy whose brief life changed ours forever. We ask that at some point during the run/walk you take a moment to appreciate the surrounding beauty of the park - celebrate Porter and celebrate life."

Early Bird Registration (before June 30)
