DESCRIPTION:The weekend of October 1-3, 2010 will see students from ac
 ross Canada coming together to mobilize for improved sustainability of
  their university and college campuses. A Sierra Youth Coalition (SYC)
  initiative, the 12th Annual National Sustainable Campuses Conference 
 will be held this year at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario in p
 artnership with the Alma Mater Society.\n\n\nCampus, Community, Change
 \n\nAs students, we can involve ourselves in a world outside of academ
 ics by engaging in campus life and our local community. As student lea
 ders, we can draw on our experiences in these realms to advance a move
 ment towards campuses that are environmentally friendly and better int
