 .\n• Are you concerned about water in Manitoba?\n• Do you want to 
 get more involved in protecting our water environment?\n• Join us fo
 r an evening of workshops on building a grassroots movement on water i
 ssues in Manitoba.\n\nOur province faces a many environmental threats 
 relating to water — effects of climate change, pollution from indust
 rial agriculture, transnational and inter-provincial watershed managem
 ent, threatened waterways, and over-consumption. We also possess an en
 ergetic and engaged core of individuals concerned about these issues. 
 Up until now however, we have lacked leadership from national environm
 ental organizations. Building our grassroots organizations has never b
 een more important.\n\nThe Manitoba Eco-Network Water Caucus hopes to 
 make Winnipeg a centre of environmental activism on water issues. We a
 re bringing together Meera Karunananthan, National Water Campaigner wi
 th Council of Canadians, Celeste Côté, National Water Campaigner wit
 h the Sierra Club of Canada, with selected community participants for 
 an afternoon and evening of discussion around priorities, strategies a
 nd goals for water activism. We hope you will join as a leader in prot
 ecting Manitoba waters.\n\nFood will be provided. Limited reimbursemen
 t for childcare costs may be available upon request.\n\nSign up now to
