MEIA Environmental Career Fair

The annual Manitoba Environmental Industries Association Environmental Career Fair will be happening this year at the UofW on Wednesday, March 2 from 12:30 to 4:30 in the Duckworth Centre. The first MEIA Career Fair happened last year at the UofM. This year's fair will be larger with approximately 42 booths and 4 breakout sessions happening simultaneously and there are prospects that there will be 400 attendees. Profile Information

About Me:: I grew up in a small town outside Winnipeg and spent much time outdoors during these years, playing soccer, walking to school. The summertime was spent living at the cabin in Ontario and picking berries and fishing and I always looked forward to a family trip in the wintertime to cross-country ski in Dauphin. The attachment and appreciation I had to nature was further strengthened when I embarked upon a journey across Canada with Katimavik in which I was fortunate to participate in workshops that centred around environmental awareness.
