The Manitoba Environmental Youth Network

I just wanted to say that what I notice everytime I go up north and visit other rural communities. There are not enough efforts to recycle, thre are not nearly enough depots to recycle and not enough people are thinking of recycling because of this. There are many conviences available in the city; so people who wish to participate have that choice. However, up north complete different story.

I also think that if recycling bottles, at the very least people would do if the governments would give cash incentives to participants. I firmly believe that the reason why people dont recycle is because they believe that there is nothing in it for them. Small rewards would get people collecting and get people thinking of recycling.

This is just my thoughts :)
